Crib Goch route

Crib Goch is the most fearsome ‘knife-edged’ arête (ridge) on the British mainland. Its name means ‘red ridge’ in the Welsh language. The highest point on the arête is 923 metres (3,028 ft) above sea level. All routes which tackle Crib Goch are considered mountaineering routes in winter or scrambles in summer (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crib_Goch). It has breath-taking views and should take about 3 ½ hours to ascend for fit people. Those not ready for sheer, exposed high places and strenous hiking should not attempt this route.
